Flat Rack Container

Flat rack containers for sale — collapsible and fixed-end platforms designed for oversized, heavy, and awkward cargo that will not fit inside a standard enclosed container. Flat rack containers feature reinforced steel floors and foldable or fixed bulkhead ends, making them ideal for transporting heavy machinery, vehicles, boats, lumber, pipes, structural steel, and construction materials. Collapsible flat racks fold down for efficient empty return shipping, reducing logistics costs. Available in 20ft and 40ft sizes with load capacities up to 45 metric tons.

What we stock

This page covers 20ft and 40ft units, with one-trip, new and used grades listed side by side. Every listing shows its own specification, condition and delivered availability, so you can compare like for like before you request a quote.

Choosing the right flat-rack container

Flat racks have no side walls and often collapsible ends, which makes them the standard choice for oversized or out-of-gauge loads. Confirm the payload rating and whether the ends fold, and plan lashing points and securing for anything overhanging the deck.
