A reefer is built with insulated walls, roof and doors around a refrigeration unit. On this used 40ft high cube the refrigeration no longer works, so it is sold for what the insulated body still does well: it slows temperature swings and dampens noise far better than an ordinary steel box. It is not a cold store - nothing inside it is cooled.

Before you order
The floor differs between units: a T-bar floor is ribbed so cold air can circulate under cargo, a flat floor is easier to walk and work on. Say which you need in your enquiry and it is confirmed for the specific unit. As with any 40ft container, plan a firm, level base and clear access for delivery.
